Aniimo launches on 16 September: everything you need to know
Aniimo opens its servers on 16 September 2026 at 02:00 UTC on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, with mobile a week later. Every pre-registration reward is unlocked and lands straight in your in-game mailbox.
The launch in short
After more than 30 million pre-registrations, Aniimo is live. Pawprint Studio’s open-world RPG launches worldwide at the same moment:
- 16 September 2026, 02:00 UTC on PC — Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store and the official launcher — plus PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- 23 September 2026 on iOS and Android.
The game is free, with cosmetic-focused in-app purchases. According to the producer, creatures are not obtained through random pulls: you catch them.
What this changes for you
- Your rewards are waiting. The 30 million pre-registration milestone was passed in late August, so every tier is unlocked for all players: Glimmer, Ultra Aniipods, the Companion Promise avatar frame and the Sunlit Meadow outfit. Open your in-game mailbox on your first login — there is no code to enter.
- No code redemption system exists yet. If a site offers you one, be suspicious. Our codes page is checked daily.
- 13 languages are supported, per the Steam page.
- 40 GB to download. Check your machine against our PC system requirements.
Where to start
Three pages so your first hours count:
- The beginner’s guide: first three hours, catching, your first team.
- The full list of all 86 Aniimo, with base stats, filterable by element, role, stage and region.
- The early game tier list, which only ranks creatures you can actually reach early.
What we are watching
Several things need confirming once players have hands on the game: the elemental strength and weakness chart, whether a real breeding system exists, daily reset times, and cross-platform progression. We update the relevant pages as we go, each with its verification date.
