Aniimo FAQ: the launch questions answered
The questions people ask at the Aniimo launch, answered briefly and with sources. When we do not know, we say so.
The game
Is Aniimo free?
Yes. Aniimo is free with in-app purchases on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, iOS and Android. Nothing has to be bought to play.
Is Aniimo a gacha game?
Not for creatures. According to the producer, Aniimo are not obtained through random pulls: you catch them in the world. The studio does publish official rates, notably for Prismana variants, with a pity counter.
Who develops Aniimo?
Pawprint Studio (Pawprint Interactive Entertainment Pte. Ltd.), a studio connected to FunPlus. The publisher varies by source: Steam lists Pawprint, while parts of the press cite Kingsglory or FunPlus.
What languages does Aniimo support?
The Steam page lists 13, including English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese.
Release and platforms
When does Aniimo release?
16 September 2026 at 02:00 UTC on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. iOS and Android follow on 23 September 2026.
Which PC stores?
Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store and the official launcher.
Is the game cross-platform?
Cross-platform multiplayer is announced on the Steam page. Shared progression between PC, console and mobile has not been confirmed in writing yet: we will update this page as soon as it is.
What do I need to run it on PC?
At minimum Windows 10 64-bit, a Core i7-4770 or Ryzen 7 2700, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 970 or RX 5600, and 40 GB of disk space.

How many Aniimo are there?
86 Aniimo are listed in the official index at launch, across three evolution stages (Lumin, Gamma, Nova) and nine elements.
Are there Aniimo codes?
Not yet. At launch Aniimo has no code redemption system: rewards land directly in your in-game mailbox. Be wary of sites claiming otherwise.
Is there Aniimo breeding?
Not confirmed. Eggs do exist in the game, but no full breeding system has been officially announced.
What is Twine?
It is the ability to transform into an Aniimo you have caught, to move around, solve puzzles or fight. Each species grants a different movement ability.
What is the Homeland?
It is your mobile base, a camper van that travels with you. Your Aniimo hold jobs there and produce resources, including while you are offline.

Is aniimo.guide official?
No. It is a fan site with no connection to Pawprint Studio, Kingsglory or FunPlus. Aniimo and related content belong to their respective owners.
